Jellyfish and Seaweed in Water

We shot an episode of commandN on a boat in Halifax harbour and beside the dock there were tons of jellyfish. I used my camera to record some of the jellyfish in the water. They looked so cool.

You can kind of tell how cool they are but I wish that they could have been seen a little closer, more distinctly....like the eyes sees them. I have a hard time doing that with my digital camera (which takes short movies). I may buy a video camera sooner or later here but in the meantime my digital does not take regular closeups that well. I guess I will just have to use a film camera for good closeups....actual film, I haven't seen that in a while.

This still of the Seaweed and Jellyfish gives a better idea of how it looked (without motion, though). We had a video camera, but we didn't shoot the jellyfish since we had it packed away. It's tough to get good closeups with a digital camera that doesn't have a good lens for it. Film is very nice to use.
