26th Atlantic Film Festival

The Atlantic Film Festival for 2006 kicks off in a couple of weeks and I’ve gone through the schedule to plan out the films that I’m going to see and that will be part of school for the Screen Arts learners. If I make it to everything I should be able to see a combination of at least 43 feature and short films during the week and a half of the festival. It’s going to be a lot of fun.

Chris -- Hope the Atlantic Film Fest inspired and intrigued. I'm a new 43 Things enthusiast and new filmmaker for documentaries. It's the year of new (re: filming, I'm new as in breaking the camera more often than procuring footage!). Your comments on 43 Things were useful and renewed my momentum. It took me a while to get the nerve but the first project is in motion. I imagine you're quite busy but feedback is certainly welcome (topic: what it's like living with computer experts from the perspective of their mates). The first teaser trailer & interview clip are at http://livingwithgeeks.blogspot.com/ if you ever have interest to view or comment.

An aside -- my husband highly endorses Ruby on Rails and is converting his department to it completely. Fyi on his blog: www.seanstickle.org. With best wishes…Jill F.
